Staff Spotlight: Anna Bershteyn
Anna Bershteyn, Sr. Research Manager, has been featured in the Intellectual Ventures Lab staff spotlight blog exploring her work at the Institute and her passion for all things groundbreaking. Anna pursued both undegrad and graduate education in material science at MIT, which allowed her to continue learning in the fields of biology, physics, chemistry, and mathematics. After taking a thermodynamics course from Professor Darrell Irvine, she was inspired by the potential benefits for drug delivery, immunotherapy and vaccine development from the interface between the immune systems and polymeric materials. She discusses her interest in vaccine development, and broader global health topics and how these interests directly play a role in her work at IDM.
