Symposium Agenda

Day 1 – DEVELOPER INSIGHTS

IDM’s Offices 1555 132nd Ave NE Bellevue, WA (please register with receptionist)
Focus on using EMOD, IDM's flagship disease modeling software, from installing to running simulations, or explore COMPS, your research productivity toolkit.

DAYS 2 & 3 - INTERSECTION OF DATA AND MODELING

Hyatt-Regency 900 Way NE, Bellevue WA
Target the core of our disease modeling mission by focusing on the intersection of data and modeling as applied to global health. The format of this year's symposium greatly expands the number of talks from our collaborators. We welcome Marcel Tanner from Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute for our plenary session. There will be a special focus on spatial analysis for global health programs. The full two-day schedule will incorporate break-out sessions on VPDs (such as polio), malaria, NIDS, HIV, TB, and enteric infections.
