EMOD v1.6.1 released
EMOD v1.6.1 enhancements will help you learn the EMOD model and quickly start running your own simulations. The Quick Start bundle now includes an installer which greatly reduces the installation time and configures your EMOD environment. The new scenarios include configuration and batch files to aid in running simulations and plotting output. While previous releases have focused on malaria and vector models, the 1.6 releases target the generic model. One of the key components of understanding the generic model is to learn the underlying mathematical assumptions. The v1.6.1 generic scenarios demonstrate how to configure the EMOD model to run basic epidemiological models such as SI, SIS, SIR, SIRS, SEIR, and SEIRS. EMOD v1.6.1 does not include new features or functionality, but does address bug fixes post-poned in the previous release.
