Guillaume Chabot-Couture leads the disease elimination and eradication efforts at the Institute for Disease Modeling. That group focuses on eradication genomics, across malaria parasite genetics, neglected tropical diseases, and polio genomics. Guillaume is also the deputy director of AI, LLM & Frontiers in Modeling to explore the potential uses of artificial intelligence, large language models, and other new technologies in global health.  

These high-performing teams leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and dynamical modeling to inform and guide the efforts to achieve permanent improvements in health of those most in need around the world. Guillaume serves as an advisor to polio eradication on the polio SAGE working group at WHO. 

He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University, where he also volunteers as an alumni interviewer to prospective students.
