In her role as Deputy Director, Strategy, Planning and Management, Sally leads strategic and resource planning, portfolio management, and coordination of priorities across IDM. As Principal Technical Product Manager, she leads software strategy and key technical initiatives, working across software, research, and partner teams.
Prior to joining the foundation, Sally spent her career working on a variety of new and established product development efforts that span hardware, software, production and research. She led teams developing advanced technologies for augmented reality systems at Meta and Magic Leap, spent 10+ years at Microsoft across a range of program and product management roles in search and Windows, and worked novel hardware such as microphone array technologies, a variety of MEMS devices, and electronic packaging innovations.
Sally has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois and a Masters in Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Electronic Packaging from Cornell University.
